Diving the Port Napier and Scallop diving

A great weekend was had by all.

After driving through snow to get to the Kyle and having to put awnings up in the dark with hail stones beating down we still managed to start the BBQ and have a feast of tikka chicken, compliments to Frankie the BBQ King.

On Friday morning we were greeted with blue skies, no wind and fantastic views.  After launching the RIB a quick test dive off the slip produced enough rewards for a couple of crab sandwiches and enough scallops to feed 6.

Dave and Bob arrived Friday night bringing with them much needed chocolate cake.

Saturday was spent diving the fantastic wreck of the Port Napier and finding out where the suits were leaking!

Thankfully the camp site had a drying room where all the suits could dry off over night.

Sunday morning once again greeted us with blue skies and clear waters.  Scallops, scallops, scallops.  Everyone had scallop fever!

Another BBQ, chocolate cake, (it was Easter Sunday after all) and lots of liquid refreshment ended another great weekends diving up at the Kyle of Lochalsh.

Thanks Frankie, Suzanne, Louis, Matty, Dave, Bob and Brian for a great weekend!  (Not forgetting Rufus!)
